King's Cup Third Round
The third round of the Spanish Cup took place today, the last lap before the first-division clubs in the competition. As in previous years, were drawn into two parts, with the ten remaining sides of the second division play each other, and the lower ranked sides together in a separate section. Qualified teams from the second group were Albacete, Ponferrada, Cadiz, Mirandese, L'Hospitalet, and San Roque, which is given in addition to Oviedo farewell, and all seven are guaranteed in the fourth round of the road on two legs against a side of playing in European competitions this season. Deportivo, Celta, Almeria, Cordoba, and Alcorcón were survivors of the second division, and also they are seeded to play the first division opposition. (12.10.11)
