Spanish Soccer Prediction: After League 2004/2005

The Primera Liga is probably the best league in Europe. With more equality among the teams in the Premier League - not to mention the Serie A - Spanish league is very exciting to see, but also very profitable to disability. Here's a look at the key

contenders to win the title this year:

Real Madrid (150): Real splashed big money this summer after a disastrous season when they finished fourth in La Liga, rushed out of the Champions League and embarrassing lost to Zaragoza in the Copa

the King. José Antonio Camacho was hired as manager of grace, with his flamboyant presence. There will be no shortage of world class strikers, Michael Owen and now that Fernando Morientes

squaf joined. Last season, Ronaldo and Raul ran out of steam towards the end of the season, so the quality of strikers are always welcome. But the most notable changes are in defense of Real, which was responsible for their dismal season last year. To tighten things, Walter Samuel and Jonathan Woodgate to join the defensive line. There is much to love this team, but at this price incredibly short, it is useful to consider the other.

Barcelona (250): After a slow start to the season, Barça charged to a second-place finish in La Liga. A summer active purchasing has transformed Barcelona in an all-star team with the likes of Deco

Henrik Larsson, Samuel Eto'o, Ludovic Giuly and Juliano Belletti came on board. They will join Ronaldinho (player of the season last year) and Javier Saviola, who combined for 29 goals last season. Losing Edgar

Davids is a midfielder is a little shock, but to free the turbulent Patrick Kluivert was reasonable. On paper this team looks unstoppable. The question is how well the new players to combine, and if the results can transform Barcelona talent. We can, but oddsmakers as well, which explains the low price of about Barça. And 'too short for us, but we expect Barcelona to install an exciting challenge for the title.

Valencia (350): top scorer of Valencia, Vicente and Mista, remain on the list, with the award-winning Santiago Canizares, Amedeo Carboni and Roberto Ayala. But losing star coach Rafael Benitez

Liverpool will be a blow to Valencia. It 'was a brilliant tactical sense of Benitez, who led Valencia, league title and Champions League final. Claudio Ranieri has work cut out for him as the new leader. And, unlike England, the popularity and charisma of Ranieri does not help to prolong their stay in Valencia. Spanish owners are notoriously impatient, so the slow start of the season could mean the neck of Rainier. Ranieri imports from Italy, Marco di Vaio, Stefano Fiore and Bernardo Corradi are also questionable. There is only one way to go in Valencia this year: down.

Deportivo (10:01): This team is largely unchanged from last season, and it is difficult to see much better this year. Deportivo face increased competition in the top of the table with two much improved teams Real Madrid and Barcelona. Do not be tempted by the price biggish.

Other long shots are Atletico Madrid (50:1), and Athletic Bilbao (65:1). But we expect the two-horse race between Barcelona and Real Madrid, so do not be afraid to go to both.
